This past week, ACA hosted our Virtual Lunch and Learn for parents continuing our Mental Health series. Mrs. Sturgill our ACA counselor discussed taking the stigma away from mental health and that "it's okay to ask for help!"
This is a recording that EVERYONE should watch and it's a good one to share with family and friends because the reality is, mental health effects us all. So, give yourself a moment to breath and listen to Mrs. Sturgill discuss how it's okay to ask for help.
Our ACA Middle School students will be discussing this same topic the entire week during their Bulldog Empowerment classes. We recognize, here at ACA that student, parent and staff mental health are topics that need to be discussed to ensure we all know how to ask for help and that it's okay to ask for help.
Here is a recording of the event.
