On February 28th, our ACA 5th graders were able to attend a Spring Training game at Surprise Stadium for a field trip. Not only did students attend the game, but they were honored over the stadium announcements as students of the month!
One of our students, Jordan Vasquez was even able to throw out the first pitch to start up the game!
Other students, Lukas Beal and Haidyn Harrison got to participate in a Jimmy Johns competition on the field. Later on, franchise owners of the local Jimmy John's came and took pictures with the students.
The players were so nice to our students and even threw several balls out for our students to catch. 5th graders and teachers agreed, it was an amazing field trip!
