ACA Parents,
As you know, our school year will begin with distance learning. In order to prepare, we do need all families to come and pick-up your child’s tech device and materials. We will practicing the highest level of precaution during this process.
Here is how it will work:
If your last name starts with A-L you will pick-up on Tuesday August 4th
If your last name starts with M-Z you will pick-up on Wednesday August 5th
Pick-up is available 8am-4pm on both days.
You can come through at any point during those hours on your assigned day.
It will be done using “Drive-Thru” (See map below)
You will pull into the lot and give your children’s name to the attendant
When you get to the pick-up point, you will be asked to pop your trunk where someone will run the supplies out to your car and put them in the trunk (we cannot hand supplies off “Hand to hand” in order to take the highest level of pre-cautions for everyone's health)
You will then exit by taking a right on Dysart Rd. in order to keep the line moving
You MUST sign your tech agreement in your Annual Update in order to pick-up your technology device. K-1 receives iPad and 2nd-8th will get a laptop.

1 on 1 Orientation with Teacher
You will receive a phone call to set-up the one on one meeting your child will have with their teacher on either August 6th or 7th.
August 6th and 7th Scheduled One on One video meeting with your child and their teacher. This will be like an orientation for parents and students. Teachers will be practicing live sessions and showing your child how to be successful in distance learning. This will also allow us to implement our plan to support technology and connectivity needs.

Padres ACA,
Como saben, nuestro año escolar comenzará con el aprendizaje a distancia. Para prepararnos, necesitamos que todas las familias vengan a recoger el dispositivo y los materiales tecnológicos de su hijo. Practicaremos el más alto nivel de precaución durante este proceso.
Así es como funcionará:
Si su apellido comienza con A-L, lo recogerá el martes 4 de Agosto
Si su apellido comienza con M-Z, lo recogerá el miércoles 5 de Agosto
La recogida está disponible de 8 a.m. a 4 p.m. en ambos días.
Puede venir en cualquier momento durante esas horas en su día asignado.
Se realizará utilizando "Drive-Thru" (Ver mapa a continuación)
Entrarás al estacionamiento y darás el nombre de tus hijos al asistente
Cuando llegue al punto de recogida, se le pedirá que abra su cajuela donde alguien llevará los suministros a su automóvil y los colocará en la cajuela (no podemos entregar los suministros "Mano a mano" para tomar el nivel más alto de precauciones para la salud de todos)
Luego saldrá girando a la derecha en Dysart Rd. para mantener la línea en movimiento
DEBE firmar su acuerdo tecnológico en su Actualización anual para poder recoger su dispositivo tecnológico. K-1 recibe iPad y 2-8 recibirá una computadora portátil.

Orientación 1 a 1 con el maestro
Recibirá una llamada telefónica para programar la reunión individual que su hijo tendrá con su maestro el 6 ó 7 de Agosto.
6 y 7 de Agosto Reunión de video uno a uno programada con su hijo y su maestro. Esto será como una orientación para padres y estudiantes. Los maestros practicarán sesiones en vivo y le mostrarán a su hijo cómo tener éxito en el aprendizaje a distancia. Esto también nos permitirá implementar nuestro plan para apoyar las necesidades de tecnología y conectividad.
