Parents,
As you know, our distance learning will begin March 30th. In order to prepare, we do need all families to come and pick-up your child’s materials. Rest assured, we will practicing the highest level of precaution during this process. Here is how it will work:
It will take place Thursday and Friday March 26th and 27th from 7:30am-3:30pm.
You can come through at any point during those hours and those days.
It will be done using “Drive-Thru” similar to how we run our dismissal drive-thru (See map below)
You will pull into the lot and give your children’s name to the attendant
When you get to the pick-up point, you will be asked to pop your trunk where someone will run the supplies out to your car and put them in the trunk (we cannot hand supplies off “Hand to hand” in order to take the highest level of pre-cautions for everyone's health)
You will then exit by taking a right on Dysart Rd. in order to keep the line moving
Academic Plan for Distance Learning
Teachers will be reaching out to their students' parents individually by today (3/24) to notify you of the plan. Many will be sending their letters via Email, Remind, Class Dojo, or Microsoft Teams (whichever way they currently communicate with you) and many will also include a physical copy of the letter when you come to pick-up your students materials. We have set-up a website to house all of the links teachers will be using during this time of distance learning. Como saben, nuestra educación a distancia comenzará el 30 de Marzo. Para prepararnos, necesitamos que todas las familias vengan a recoger los materiales de su hijo. Tenga la seguridad de que practicaremos el más alto nivel de precaución durante este proceso. Así es como funcionará:
Tendrá lugar Jueves y Viernes 26 y 27 de Marzo de 7:30 a.m. a 3:30 p.m.
Puede venir en cualquier momento durante esas horas y esos días.
Se realizará utilizando "Drive-Thru" similar a cómo ejecutamos nuestro despido drive-thru (Ver mapa a continuación)
Llegará al estacionamiento y le dará el nombre de sus hijos al asistente
Cuando llegue al punto de recogida, se le pedirá que abra la cajuela donde alguien llevará los suministros a su automóvil y los dejará en la cajuela (no podemos entregar los suministros "Mano a mano" para llevarlos El nivel más alto de precauciones para la salud de todos)
Luego saldrá girando a la derecha en Dysart Rd. para mantener la línea en movimiento
Plan Académico de Educación a Distancia
Los maestros se comunicarán con los padres de sus estudiantes de forma individual para hoy (3/24) para notificarle sobre el plan. Muchos enviarán sus cartas por correo electrónico, Remind, Class Dojo o equipos de Microsoft (de la forma en que se comuniquen actualmente con usted) y muchos también incluirán una copia física de la carta cuando venga a recoger los materiales de sus estudiantes. Hemos creado un sitio web para alojar todos los enlaces que los maestros usarán durante este tiempo de aprendizaje a distancia.
