

ACA Science Fair 2018
In the last month of school each year, at ACA, we like to showoff our science projects! Students 1st-8th grades put their hard work on display in our gym and we invite ACA parents to come and see the volcanoes and slime and geology and more! Students interested in doing live presentations are welcome to present their hypothesis and outcomes. Some worked and some didn't, but that's science! There were over a hundred projects on display for parents and students to browse. Great


ACA's First Retiree
This year, ACA will be celebrating another milestone of having our first retiree! Mrs. McPeak will be retiring after being with ACA for the past 14 years! Mrs. McPeak was ACA's first Kindergarten teacher and actually 1 of her students was Emily Holdaway whom graduated from High School just last year. Literacy Night at ACA
At ACA, Literacy is Life! Every year we host a number of Literacy Nights and invite our parents to come in and learn tips on helping your young reader at home. Ms. Townes our Reading Intervention teacher extraordinaire has an absolutely passion for reading and she will discuss tips as long as you'll let her! Her goal in life is to build life long love of reading in each and every ACA student and she has an EXCELLENT track record achieving this! Family nights like this Literac


Lunch With Leaders Series at ACA
ACA's Lunch with Leaders program allows middle schoolers to learn from local speakers. The popular monthly program revolves around the acronym GREAT, which defines ACA’s core staff values of Grit, Redefine Possible, Expect Excellence, Accountability and Thoughtfulness Once a month at (ACA, the first 30 middle schoolers through the door of the Design Thinking Lab are served a tasty pizza lunch, which they enjoy while listening to a local business person or other leader share


ACA Has AMAZING Students and Staff!
Over the past week, ACA teachers welcomed our students back after being gone for a few days with BIG smiles and a ton of energy to finish the school year strong!
