BIG NEWS For the ACA Food Drive

Every year, ACA hosts a school-wide food drive to provide 40-50 food boxes to ACA families in need, for Thanksgiving. Our Middle School students are working tirelessly on the Food Drive, keeping a close count of donations ensuring we have everything we need to fill the boxes. Recently, the students realized we were running very low on donated Turkeys. They were brainstorming and thinking of ways we could reach our goal to ensure families get the turkey dinner they otherwise would not be able to have. Enter, the Surprise Lions. ACA Teachers Give Back in a BIG Way!

ACA teachers and staff have big hearts and believe in our school. This year, we asked all of the teachers and staff if they wanted to participate in getting our school free money by participating in tax credits. MORE THAN HALF of the ACA staff responded with a resounding YES and throughout the year, they will be giving back a total of $10,000 in tax credits going straight to support extracurricular activities, college and career readiness, STEM and other programs! We want to say a BIG thank you to the staff as this is yet another example of the incredible spirit and dedication they display every day! We are PROUD to be ACA Bulldogs! Last, week they were working on the concept of "Free Enterprise" and they broke into small groups and started their own business and created products to sell. They had a certain amount of tim

1st Grade Literacy Dress Up Project

Last week, Mrs. Keldgord's 1st grade class was able to dress up as their favorite story book character. What was even better, parents were able to come in and participate in on the fun! Parents each brought snacks and treats for the students and the students rotated to the stations each of the parents ran and read from their books. Students went home with tons of treats and parents enjoyed getting to play a part in the fun!
