ACA Middle School Girls Attend Women in STEM Empowerment Breakfast
The YWCA hosted their annual Women's Empowerment Series, Women in STEM Leadership breakfast at the Arizona Science Center on September 27th. A group of Integrated Academy of Studies girls attended with Technology Teacher Mrs. Benson. The group got to see a panel discussion from women leaders in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. ACA's Middle School Empower Class Speaks to City of Surprise Council Meeting
A group of ACA Middle School students were asked to open the City of Surprise City Council meeting on Tuesday September 19th. ACA Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th-October 15th. At ACA we find unique ways to incorporate observing Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the school. ACA Students and Teachers Sending Love and Support to Schools Affected by Hurricane Harvey
We've been seeing the news and by now we all know Hurricane Harvey has created a huge burden on the communities in Texas. We at ACA have found a few ways to give back. School Supply Drive Mrs. Allen (Kindergarten) is hosting a school supply drive for Roy Guess Elementary in Beaumont, Texas. Their neighborhood was under water and was one of the worst hit areas.
